Last one

This is the last one, I promise! The last one of the Children's Museum that is. My goal (and so far I've actually made it) is to post every day in November.

They had this great table that had huge magnets and all sorts of nuts and washers and you could make all sorts of things.

Gorilla's in the Desert

The Museum at NMSU has a Family Craft on Saturday afternoons. The craft is based upon the current exhibits. Right now there's an exhibit from Diane Fossey, including many of her own personal photo's of the gorillas. The craft was making gorilla masks and Leo enjoyed it very much. Aaron lost interest quickly and just wanted to jump in the puddles.

This is a Pagemaps sketch but I can't find it to show you.

"Scrapping" at Kim's

We had one last scrap night at Kim's house. Sue mentioned margaritas and all thoughts of scrapping moved over for the blender! We had a great time and I'll miss these ladies when we move.

This is a Pagemaps sketch and supplies are My Mind's Eye and CTMH

Finally! - another CKC Weekend layout.

Many, many, many months before our girls weekend actually happened, I got a phone call one night from Jen. She was out to dinner with her husband and casually asked him about coming out to California for a girls weekend. To both of our surprise he said yes. She was so excited, she actually called me from the restaurant to tell me. (That way he couldn't change his mind later.)

It seemed to take FOREVER for our weekend to get here. Since I live over 100 miles from LAX (and she got here smack dab in the middle of morning traffic) she was a great sport and took the Fly Away (we were also going to Pasadena, totally the other way from LAX). When she finally got here, I had my camera out, poised to take her picture. So did she!
All supplies: Crate Paper Lemon Grass collection except Basic Grey chipboard letters.

I Leo!

Leo's such a silly boy. You can't call him by a pet name, he get's very indignant and let's you know, his name is Leo. Anyway, I took this picture of him on Christmas morning and it just shows his personality. I had been wanting to scrap how he says "I Leo" and thought this would be the perfect picture to use. This is a Page Maps sketch.

All supplies CTMH (except sticker alphabet): Blue Ribbon Level 2, Cranberry Gossgrain ribbon, dimensional elements book plates, craft buttons, white daisy brads, Friendship small alphabet stamp for date.

Edited to note that I can see into the future! Oops, I guess I'm used to writing 2009 now.

Mini Me

I just love this picture of Martel and Leo, yes, that's Leo. It's an old picture that I'm just getting around to scrapping. Oh, I've done the "event" but wanted this one for my personal favorites album that I'm doing. Thankfully, I started scrapping a month before Leo was born, so as far as my kids go, I'm caught up. And, thanks to having 3 different clubs, I do around 6 layouts a month and am actually running out of pictures to scrap. I know there are quite a few of you out there rolling your eyes at my dilemma. he he he.
Since I did this layout yesterday, I actually know the products I used. Everything is CTMH except the base page (My Mind's Eye) and the Chipboard alphabet (Scenic Route). I also used a sketch from my new Page Maps book.

I'm good right here

Remember yesterday when I posted that Aaron didn't like the cold water? He had a great time combing the beach for stuff and when he got tired, he sat on the towels and just chilled.

Supplies used: CTMH Serendipity, CTMH rubons, Colonial White Bigger brad.
