One of the Lancaster August pages

Here is one of the Lancaster August layouts. It's not in any CTMH book but the photos are three or four 3.5x5 (or at least the white mats are) and one 5x7 (again, that's what the white mat is. And for all of you looking at the arrow and stars, YES I cut them out for you.
A little story behind the layout, as many of you know, we're teaching the boys ASL. Well, Leo LOVES Dora the Explorer and at the end of every episode, they throw their hands in the air and say, "We did it!" Weeeellllll, somehow Leo decided that this MUST be the ASL sign for "I did it." You can ask him to "show you" how to say "I did it!" and this is what he does. It's too funny!

Agua Dulce Group's August Layouts

I know I've been really bad about getting the layouts posted, who am I kidding, finished. Here are the basic layouts for the August Agua Dulce club meeting.

The Boom-di-Ada paper of Aaron in the poppies is Imagine Role Play (page 107). It calls for one 6x6 photo (again I used a 5x5 and double matted) and five 3.5 x 3.5 photos.

The Blue Ribbon paper, Aaron's first birthday party is Imagine Personality Presence (page 90). It calls for four 4x3.5 photos, four 5.5x3.5 photos and one 3.4x5.5 photo.

We still haven't nailed down a date and time, but it will be at Brandi's house, the first weekend in August (either the 2nd or 3rd). Let me know if there are any specific stamps you'd like me to bring.

I got tagged!

My wonderful and extremely helpful cyber friend Liane tagged me. I've never been blog tagged before, but I'll play. Here goes.

Ten years ago: Would be 1998. I worked for American Express Travel, on the NASA contract and spent half the year working in various centers across the country. It truly was a fantastic opportunity. I got to see A LOT of the country and realize that there's no place like home. California, in this case.

5 things on today's to do list: sweep, vaccuum and mop the floor. (Uncle Dominic and Aunt Chris are coming for the weekend) clean the front bathroom, make dinner, go to work, clean scrap area up. I actually got the bathroom cleaned already, but it was on the list.

Snacks I enjoy: Potato chips, pretty much any and all kinds. Apples with peanut butter, yes together. Anything else I can grab out of the cabinet or fridge that's handy.

Things I would do if I was a millionaire: Wow, Martel and I talk about this one all the time. ha ha ha. I'd pay off the house and buy Martel his Viper and me the new Camero that's coming out soon. We both would still work because let's face it, a million dollars isn't all that much these days. But, we'd enjoy that nest egg for sure! Oh and I'd send Sue to Atlanta once a month for her Trader Joe's shopping trip.

Places I've lived: California. Yup, born and raised.

I don't have anyone to tag so if you're reading and want to play, leave a comment and we all can check it out.

Yeah!!!! I finally got it posted!

Yeah!!!!!! I finally got the picture to post right. It was rotated 90 degrees and I had a heck of a time getting it to work right. Anyway, here's the second layout for the Lancaster group. It's from Imagine, Up the Tempo. The photo suggestions are one 8x6 (I used two 4x6) three 3.5x3.5 and a slightly smaller than 4x6 photo.

A Huge Favor

I'm running very low on the zip top bags that I put your kits in. In the nearing days of $5 gas, I've got to save where I can. So, we're going to have a little contest. She who can bring in the most zip top bags to the next meeting will win a prize. How's that for incentive?

For some reason, I'm not able to send a group email. Somethings funny in the land of Martinez.

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate it. See you this weekend (or next month)
