Tree Frogs

Leo likes to take on the "persona" of his towels. Here he is, fresh from the tub with his frog towel on. He started hopping around saying, "Mom, I'm a Tree Frog!" We're teaching the boys ASL, so not only was he speaking, he was signing "tree" and "frog" when he was telling me.

the swing

This is just one of those pictures that I found in a box. I have no idea when it was taken (I'd guess in the mid to late 70s) or what was going on, but my mom's in the porch swing. That is one of the things I remember most fondly of my childhood. My grandparents had this huge balcony at their house and this swing outside on it. My sister, Charla, and I would spend hours on this swing. We'd twist it around and around and then let go and laugh as we spun around.

Together

The boys love to help daddy work on cars. Martel decided it was finally time to fix my 4Runner so I could drive it for my whopping .5 mile commute to work.

More Lime Rickey layouts

Instead of making one post for each layout, I decided to group them all together based on the paper pack. How's that for lazy? :)
The boys go to Summer Camp and every week there is a new theme. This week here was Retro Week and on 70s day, they tye-died shirts. They had so much fun and the shirts turned out great.
Leo went to work with me and it was pretty slow so I have him some markers and paper and told him to write his name. This is what he did. I told him that he wrote it backwards and he just looked at me like I was a big moron and said....."Mom, it's in a window!" Where in the world does a 3 1/2 year old come up with this stuff? (note, it's taken me awhile to scrap this one, it's from March)

These pictures are 3 years old now. I wasn't inspired to scrap them, but saw sketch #18 at Inspired Blueprints and (he he he) inspiration hit! This is the only time Leo got to wear these shoes because Bailey chewed one up that night. Pretty expensive 3 steps if you ask me!

Water Boy

This one in another Inspired Blueprints layout, sketch #27. My friend took this picture of Aaron at our Family Swim Night a few weeks ago.

Family Swim Night

We had a Family Swim Night last month and it was a ton of fun. The pool was

open late and there was music, hot dogs and games. I'm just happy to have pictures to put in my layouts! This is one of our club layouts from back in May that finally has pictures on it now. :)

CRX CRAZ

Oops, you got 2 posts today. I forgot to schedule this one for tomorrow. I hope you enjoy my busy scrapping day! :)

Really, there's not much to say about this. My husband is seriously CRX crazy! I think his goal is to have one of every kind and year. This is a Creative Scrappers sketch (#63) and is a great one for using up your scrap papers. Everything is from the Basic Grey Lime Rickey collection

beach layouts

Friday was Leo's birthday and we went to the beach for the day. The boys had a blast. Martel and I did too. :) It was the most perfect beach day. Mid 70s and sunny with a gentle breeze. Amazingly, the water wasn't too cold.

A lot of these, OK all of them, were ones that I had done before and they just needed some pictures on them and were good to go. I got all 5 layouts done in an hour. The hardest part was deciding which pictures to print.

OK, so this isn't the beach. We went to Grandma and Grandpa's yacht club for dinner that night.

This is an A Page 4 All Seasons layout that I had. It goes perfectly with these pictures. Leo was all about playing in the sand. I cannot believe how much he had on him!

This one is another A Page 4 All Season's layout. Aaron had fun laying on me and smooshing my face. Ahhh! Silly boy!

Aaron LOVED the water. He wasn't too keen on the sand and didn't like it on him. He kept deciding that he didn't want to be on the sand and would make his way down to the surf.

Just some random pictures from the day.

Ok, so it's not a scrapbook page

But I'm so stinkin happy right now I could burst! My lovely husband FINALLY got a hair cut. I am NOT a fan of long hair in men but decided to go with the flow (which normally is not something I do). He had noble intentions and is donating it to Locks of Love.
