A few years ago my sister came to visit and made these mushrooms. I'm not a huge fan of mushrooms and my girlfriend who was there doesn't like them at all. We both wound up eating a ton of them. (Sidebar, my sister is an professional Chef)
What you need.....mushrooms, butter and salt and pepperI used 1/2 stick of butter, cut into pieces and put in a cast iron skillet
Then just put the whole mushrooms on top of the butter and sprinkle with kosher salt
and some fresh ground black pepper.
Here's the hard part.....leave them alone until they get nice and crispy
Now, leave them alone again. Turn them so the get crisp all over |
Then put them on your plate and gobble them up!

Yum! What kind of mushrooms are those? Or just whatever is in the produce isle ok?
I used the baby bellas from Costco. I'm pretty sure that my sister used white button. I don't think it would matter too much.
