Project 365 page 1

Now that things are semi back to normal, my husband is finally done with his vacation and at work today, I can post my Project 365 page. Since my original post about doing this, I decided to change the first page. The Gods were with me on this and Jan 1 was on a Thurs, so 3 pictures, 1 title block and 2 journaling were perfect for 1 pocket page. The right side of my journal area is still blank because I wanted to write a little something about what I'm doing and why and I haven't quite figured out what I want to say. Remember this is going to be my husband's Christmas gift. Here is the first page of my book. Sorry about the glare but taking the stuff out of the page protector kinda defeats the purpose of showing you what I'm doing, right?

A little about the pictures. Here's what my journaling says.
1. The Auto Show was in San Diego and we went on Jan 1st. It was such fun seeing the boys and Martel in all the cars.
2. Leo got a kid’s camera for Christmas and he went around taking pictures of everyone and everything (and nothing). It was so cute to see him take after mommy and take so many pictures. Jan 2, 2009
3. We came home from San Diego to some wicked fog. Just another day in the life of a Stallion Springs resident! Jan 3, 2009
After printing my journaling, I saw there was a lot of "white space" on my paper, so I just did a little random stamping to give it a little bit of umph.
If you have your first page completed and posted, let me know and I'll link you.

LOVE Leo with the camera up to his face! Maybe you've got a budding Ansel Adams there.

Wicked fog!

I'm so lazy! I bought the CK kit, but could have done what you did! I didn't think of using CTMH page protectors! I took my pictures already (they are on my family blog) but haven't rcvd the kit yet to scrap. I'm usually slow at developing pictures too. I don't print my pictures at home. My Mom is a pro-photographer and discourages printing at home. Something about the ink not getting lazored into the paper which makes pictures fade over time! So I wait until I get about 600 photos and take them in to Wal-Mart! Anyhow, it will be nice to see your 365 project this year. TFS!
